In only two days....

We have been busy during this short week!

In just two days, we did a lot of things including:
-Read informational text about Turkeys.
-Discussed the difference between Fact and Opinion.
-Wrote at least 3 facts about turkeys.
-Discussed what we are thankful for and created a mini-book about it.
-Practiced adding 2 and 3 numbers (up to 18) in two different math games.
-Visited 5th Grade Science Projects.
-Had fun getting to know a new teacher!

I wish you all the best this Thanksgiving.  I am thankful for such a wonderful group of students to work with each day.  They are true gems!

We had a great celebration with Ms. Weck on Friday. It is obvious that the students are fond of her and will miss her dearly. I appreciate all that she did to help the students in Room 116B have a great first trimester!

Mann School Gives Back!

Mann School is having a Pajama Day on Tuesday, November 26th! Students are invited to bring $1 to donate to the American Red Cross Philippine Disaster Relief Fund and wear their favorite pajamas! This is a great way to give back and kick off the holiday season!
