Ask your child to explain our "Reminders" Behavior Management system to you!
In our classroom we have colored slips that represent different behaviors. If a child is working on a specific behavior (i.e. being quiet in the hallway), he/she will receive a reminder (slip of paper in that particular color). The act of receiving the reminder helps students to think about their behaviors and change them when necessary. A note will come home when a child receives 3 or more reminders in one school day.
The colors of the reminders are:
Yellow: talking
Green: listening
Pink: raising hand
Blue: hallway
Orange: respect
Brown: hands & feet
White: cafeteria
Purple: sitting safely
Red: working
